Being an international student means I’m building my career while I’m building a life in a completely new place. So, instead of waiting for the “perfect” job title to start doing the work I want to do, I’ve been using campus as my playground.
Right now, that means leading teams, running social media, creating content, planning events, working with students and faculty, and occasionally figuring things out five minutes before they’re due. Here’s what I’ve been up to:

Director of Social Media & Marketing
Thunderbird Student Government
I lead social media and marketing for Thunderbird Student Government, where I get to work on the creative side of campus life. I create and manage social content, design promotional materials, and help shape how events and initiatives are communicated to students. A big part of the role is figuring out how to make something happening on campus feel interesting enough that people actually want to show up.
Campus Ambassador
Thunderbird School of Global Management
Being a Campus Ambassador is a little different from my other roles because I’m not creating the message; I’m part of the message. I represent Thunderbird to prospective and current students, answer questions, share my experience, and help people get a feel for what student life here is actually like. As an international student, I know how many questions come with moving halfway across the world to study, so I’ve really enjoyed being able to make that experience feel a little less intimidating for someone else.

Vice President
AI Club at Thunderbird
As Vice President of the AI Club, I help turn ideas into actual events and experiences for students. That means coordinating with students and faculty, helping plan events, communicating with potential speakers and collaborators, and making sure the details don't fall apart somewhere along the way. It’s also given me a chance to think about how you communicate something as broad (and sometimes intimidating) as AI to a student audience.
Content Writer & Marketing
Das Tor
With Das Tor, I get to lean more into writing and storytelling. I contribute as a writer while also working with the marketing side of the publication, which gives me a different way to think about content, not just what we want to say, but what makes someone stop, read, and care.
